If The Yes Men keep up their hilarious antics, I may have to keep posting about them every day. Apparently, the eco-pranksters staged a protest on the Capitol steps yesterday wearing those Survivaballs made by “Halliburton” — and when a policeman grabbed one ball, he squealed and rolled down the steps! (via Grist)
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” he said at the bottom. “No matter what comes as a result of climate change, Survivaball can protect us.”
The Survivaballs also chased down Senator Arlen Specter. The resulting confrontation, if it can be called that, isn’t all that interesting to watch — but the bouncy running Survivaballs make for a hilarious sight!
And The Yes Men Fix the World‘s screening FREE tonight at 7 pm at the Hammer Museum, 10899 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles. I’m going to be there — I’ll be taking the bus with Diane Meyer of Without a Car in the World to get there! Come join us to see what I’m sure will be a hilarious and inspiring film.
