The No on 85 campaign’s started a TV ad campaign. I think the lil spot does a good job of showing that most teens already DO talk to their parents about pregnancy and related issues — Prop 85 pretty much wouldn’t affect these teens.

The problem is that some teens — victims of incest, for ex — can’t talk to their parents, cuz they come from abusive or violent families. These are the teens that Prop 85 would harm. Trying to legislate better family communication for these kids is misguided and dangerous.
