Tuesday questions: De-wishlisted

Your turn to help me –

Not too long ago, I had a Google wishlist with a link I could just email off to anyone who asked what I wanted for my birthday and stuff.

But a month or so ago, this list disappeared! Now, when I click on it, I get this message:

Not Found
Error 404

I thought maybe the link had shifted, so I tried going to my main google account and clicking “My Shopping List.” And I got the same Not Found message –

What went wrong? Other people’s google wishlists still seem to be working, so it’s not a prob in the entire system…. Did I offend Google in some way?

How can I recover my shopping list — or find a way to create a new one if that’s not possible? I looked for a way to contact Google ’bout this prob, but can’t find a way to let ‘em know I’m hurting –

Update: Thanks to Jason’s advice, my wishlist’s back up!

  1. I just check my google shopping list from last year that I never touched and it seems to still work:

It sounds like something wrong on the Google end. If you search Google for references to this problem, others have this problem too, but no solution was mentioned.

According to some pages I found, Froogle has been integrated with Google Base, so their support page should be:

    http://base.google.com/support/bin/request.py

  2. Thanks Jason — I just tried sending a message via the Google Base Help Center — Hopefully I’ll hear back….
