Your turn to help me –

So there was this great guy called Brian who used to help me with the tech stuff on green LA girl — but he disappeared into Europe.

Now I need someone new to help me. The main issue at hand: I want to change the way the categories — aka the “green topics” section in the left sidebar — look. I wanna shrink the vertical length of the thing, either via javascript, pulldown menus, or cloud tags.

I know there are wordpress plugins designed for this purpose — but I’ve fucked with the templates enough during my trial-and-error design process that activating said plugins creates massive problems, either drastically slowing down green LA girl’s loading time or giving error messages. I need someone who can read through the code in the “theme editor” section, figure out the problem it, fix it, suggest a sidebar shrinking method, then implement it.
