Your turn to help me –
A special thanks goes to whoever can decipher the notes my dissertation adviser wrote on the margins of my poetry manuscript.
Her writing’s in blue ink. I figured out the “I’m not sure” part on the first margin note (and wrote it down in black ink), but can’t figure out the rest of the words –

All guesses’re appreciated –

Time for office hours?
And who doesn’t know “Twinkle twinkle little bat”?

Wow .. this is a hard one.. i think it reads “i’m not sure what line indentations” for the first one… the second one i think has to do something about a “prisoner”? Good luck… I know I was of no help.

Daniela — I think it IS “indentations”! I thought it was “under”-something, which is why I got stuck — Thanks!!
Ivy — I think the “not possessive” part’s right — Thanks! But there are no itals on the page, so the first word must be something else… The note must be saying something about the “m’s” in the poem — I just don’t know what….
How I wonder what you are –

Siel – I’ve no idea what these say but the whole thing cracked me up and also reminded me that I’m curious why you don’t publish any of your poetry on the blog. I’m sure all your fans, including myself, would love to read it . . .

Ital
Not possessive
Typo?
SO: Ok. “M” is not possessive, so do not use “m’s” with the apostrophe?? Use Itals: my ms ????

Coming late to the party – but definitely “I’m not sure about line indentations.” The second one is still a mystery to me. Did you ever figure it out? The closest I could get is “M’s is not possessive, right?” Why is it a rule that comments must be scribbled?
