Vote! LA County Judge of the Superior Court

How I’m voting for the environment in the Nov. 4, 2008 election.

I’m voting down the party line on this one, partly because it’s really, really hard to make a personal, educated decision on these votes, and partly because I don’t think judges should be subject to popular vote in the first place. Curious about why we vote on judges? Here’s the answer.

Luckily, the Santa Monica Democratic Club, West LA Democratic Club, and the LA County Democratic Party agree on who to support:

Office 72: Hilleri Grossman Meritt

Office 82: Cynthia Loo

Office 84: Lori-Ann C. Jones

Office 94: C. Edward Mack

Office 154: Rocky L. Crabb

The LA Times disagrees on the last 3, and the AFL-CIO disagrees on the last 2. Here’s the LA County Bar Association’s rankings on the candidates.
