I’ve started running again. If you run on a regular basis, you’ll find yourself getting slowly depressed when your body doesn’t get its usual run-induced high, aka endorphines.

For a while I was curious about dopamine. A friend of mine dated a guy who said dopamine came from expected pleasures. Of course I question whether an expected pleasure’s actually that pleasurable — I tend to think unexpected pleasures are the real pleasurable pleasures –

So I had a convo with my bro in law — a neurologist like my sis — who said that mice that’re used to dopamines from expected pleasures’ll go into a psychotic rage when these expectations get stymied.

Yes, Carlyle, Marguerita, and Alta are all residential streets. Basically, all the streets above Wilshire are residential streets, aside from that 10-block stretch on Montana.

Each street has its character of course. Carlyle appears abruptly, for example, forcing its way into being at 9th street, pushing Georgina northward –

I shall be sticking to pursuing endorphines for now. Also, I’d like to encourage additional natural seretonin production in myself somehow….

I don’t think my friend’s seeing this dopamine dude anymore –
