Today’s giveaway’s a 4-pack of tickets to the L.A. County Fair — packaged in a reusable shopping bag.
L.A. County Fair runs from Sept. 5 – Oct. 4 this year, and “Going Green – Making a World of Difference,” is part of the event, “showcasing the latest and greatest in the ‘green’ shopping world,” according to the organizers. You can expect to see eco-friendly fashions, recycled jewelry, energy efficient hot tubs, and solar systems. Plus, you’ll get to check out rainforest-themed exhibits, featuring a sloth, tucans, monkeys and butterflies.
Tickets for the fair or for special events are available to the public — but one lucky green LA girl winner can win a 4-pack of L.A. County Fair tickets — good for any day of the fair — delivered in a reusable shopping bag.

I’m so in! The 7 years I’ve lived here, I’ve never been able to convince my boyfriend to go with me. Maybe this will help persuade him – free tickets AND a green theme!

Love the LA County Fair! The Wine Pavilion is a must visit. You can really taste a lot of different wines from all over CA there, and you pay by the taste. It helps since it’s SO HOT IN POMONA.

Hmm. I’ve either lived or worked within ten miles of the fairground for eleven of the last thirteen years, but I still haven’t ever made it to the LA county fair. But I’ve been to the OC fair twice. go figure.
Maybe this year I should go. :-)

My favorite part of the fair is the farm animals. I love them all, and if I win the tickets, will be the biggest kid in the petting zoo (goat pun intended).
