  7. The greeting cards are beautiful – I’m really liking these: http://www.novica.com/itemdetail/index.cfm?pid=158025

For birthdays and holidays, I am a fan of giving a nice card and a non-material gift (cooking dinner, an outing of some sort) and these cards really make a statement.

  8. Hi Siel! Would love to get a set of those hand-blown wine glasses from Mexico, seeing as I currently only have 4 definitely-not-as-gorgeous-or-eco-friendly wine glasses to my name.

  9. Awesome, Siel. I’d pick the Gold vermeil and turquoise choker, ‘Blue Vortex.” It’s made by Bhavesh from Jaipur, India. What a great idea. I love how you can actually learn about where the goods are coming from and how you are truly getting a glimpse of each artists’ story. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Quite cool.

  13. Thanks for the introduction to such a fabulous site! I signed up for their newsletter, became a friend of theirs on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. I would appreciate being entered in your fun giveaway prize drawing. A great place to help people and find unique handmade gifts.

  15. Siel, What a kind and generous present to give away. I’m not a big shopper or spender..always looking at my footprint, my consumption levels..and never, ever have liked malls. But it was fun to discover the NOVICA site and explore the possibilities. I always wanted a beautiful shawl and I saw one here. I remember seeing Kimberly Brooks (IthinkIhateplastic.com) wearing one a few months back and it was so flattering. It would be a nice Glamour makeover piece and even more fun it’s eco-friendly, and listed as sustainable & natural. Pretty please with Stonyfield Farms whip cream (some day product) on top ..PICK ME!!!!

  16. NOVICA’s site is pretty cool. I plan on using the gift certificate towards the purchase of a Djembe drum. I was in Leimert Park last weekend and they were playing them in the drumming circle they have there. Sooo cool! =)

  18. This is a terrific offering for your readers. Thank you for offering this to us, the products are so creative, unique, and varied! I love wood carvings, so one item I would love is a singing frog, a wood carving made by a woman from Bali.

  19. Ohh, too hard to choose! Perhaps I would get a beaded handbag, since I really don’t have any kind of out-on-the town purses. Or maybe I would surprise my husband with a gong for his Buddhist shrine or a drum! Or buy a gift for my mum!
