A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.
Today’s giveaway’s a copy of Barbara Kingsolver’s book, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life.
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle — reviewed here — is a yearlong memoir of sorts by Barbara Kingsolver that documents her family’s life of trying to eat as locally as possible in southern Appalachia. I made chocolate chip zucchini cookies via a recipe from this book.
Thanks to Lisa for sharing this book. Comment or email by Friday to get into the drawing, which happens Sat. US addresses only.

Please, pretty please, count me in!

Please count me in to! What I love about Barbara Kingsolver is her ability to create both fictional and nonfictional stories that share the same essence and creativity. She had me hooked with Animal Dreams and her book of short essays. Thanks! Lea
