  18. i am new to the greenlagirl blog but so far it has taught me so much and i check it every day. i am in college now, but when i was in high school, i was the stand-out, environmentally crazy girl who started tons of recycling, water and electricity reducage, etc campaigns that many other students were loathe to follow.

what i know about current environmental issues and how to help the environment has come primarily from book and legal research, as no one in my family is very much concerned with anything.

i really do like this tee-shirt, but more for it’s symbolic purpose. in an earlier post i read that shirts are now being made out of recycled bottles (whoa!) so organic cotton, while certainly good for the environment, isnt the biggest shocker. What i love about the shirt is its message: DEFORESTATION. deforestation has been my prime target of interest in terms of environmental issues, so if i were able to wear a shirt that advertised my passion to the world, then i would be so happy!
