After reading your review, I love how this book seems to most aspects of my lifestyle. It’s a little overwhelming trying to start out going green, not knowing many reliable sources – and *really* tricky finding fashionable green alternatives. This sounds like a more productive starting place than google and desperate search word guesses!

Yep, I realize I’m lucky to be in L.A. with its sprouting of green.
But, I do have “green envy” when I think about what cities like San Francisco have going on.

I’ve been waiting for the Indianapolis Public Library to get this book in for a number of months… still hasn’t arrived! Although this is book is a “lighter shade of green”, I think sharing it with my girlfriends here in Indy (with a city population that is only now getting into the “green scene”) would be fantastic. It was a culture shock moving from Chicago to Indy how behind this city is in “sustainable thinking”. It has definitely improved in the 3 years I’ve been here, but I’m still looking towards the coast (hence, reading your blog) for the latest and greatest for green news. Please enter me too.
