I think it’s a very small effort on the part of Keds to be green; however a small effort is better than none at all. $55 is a lot to pay for this type of shoes too, and ones made in China no less. For years I wore plaid Keds in a similar style to these with the thick soles back in the early 90’s, I’d buy them discounted at Century 21 in NYC. I love Keds because with flat soles you don’t have to worry about tracking mud in your house as you do with other types of sneakers. I would LOVE to own a pair of these!

It’s great that Keds offering an eco shoe line..yes, too bad that it’s still manufactured overseas. However, I would like to own a pair to try out this bad boys. I don’t have any canvas shoes at all so this would be great to have.

Hey Siel, I’ve never owned a pair of Keds or a pair of eco shoes and would love to sport a pair! Of course, I echo the thoughts of flipflop girl–I shouldn’t be biking around town in my sandals. :)

I would love to own some green shoes! Environmentally friendly Keds would be awesome! They would look real cute when I’m biking around town!

Hi Siel, I want a pair of green Keds since I’m curious to find out how shoes made of sustainable materials are different from other shoes. They also look cool-retro and remind me of canvas shoes I had back in the day….

I like how the Keds’ Company has teamed up with the National Arbor Day Foundation. Planting trees is such a great thing! I also like that the shoes are made from recycled materials and look good.
Please enter me in your drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

Green is my favorite color, and organic cotton is an idea and product whose time has come. I would like a pair of non-leather, comfortable shoes, and I commend Keds for manufacturing a shoe with organic cotton. Please enter me in your drawing for a pair of the shoes. Thank you.

These are cool looking shoes – and I like that Keds is planting a tree in the US for every purchase. Green is my favorite color. Please enter me in the drawing. Happy Friday!

I forgot to say why I would love this- I’m in the market for new eco-shoes because my old ones are all tattered and pretty soon my toes will be poking through. Keds were a childhood favorite, so I would love to own a pair of their take on a classic using eco-friendly materials. Way rad!

I’ve never owned co-shoes before!

i’d like a pair of these shoes because it’s hard to find a good pair of shoes, especially hard to find a pair of good non-leather shows, and especially hard to find a pair of good non-leather, eco friendly shoes. these keds look pretty nice and comfortable too!
