Wednesday freebies: Livingreen tote bag

Posted by Siel in freebies (Wednesday October 15, 2008 at 12:56 pm)

A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.

Today’s giveaway is a tote bag from Livingreen, made by a wholesale company called June Fifteen.

On the plus side: Both June Fifteen and Livingreen are based in Culver City, so it’s cute that they teamed up. Plus, June Fifteen’s stock’s packed by Americans with disabilities. On the downside, the cotton used appears to be conventional, and the bags’re made far away in India. There’s no mention of fair trade policies on June Fifteen’s website.

Comment or email by Friday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Saturday (more info on freebies here). US addresses only.

  8. Please enter me. If I win this I will give it to my sis-in-law Jan because blue is her favorite color and this bag will remind her and her large family to be green.

  9. Love your blog and, although I’m in Minnesota, I’d love to have that tote…for my daughter who lives and teaches in L.A. She’s a hard working high school teacher. Not only that but she’s also in grad school and mentors other teachers.
