A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.

Only one lucky green LA girl reader will win today’s big eco-beauty freebie — but everyone can nab a free, full-sized Origins product on Earth Day tomorrow!
That’s right — Anyone and everyone’s invited to go into any Origins store near you tomorrow, April 22, with an empty cosmetic container — from ANY brand — for recycling. In exchange, you’ll get a free, full-sized Checks and Balances Frothy face wash ($18.50 retail value) or A Perfect World Antioxidant cleanser with White Tea ($20 retail value).
Once you’ve nabbed that free product, tweet or twitpic your experience to win the big freebie here: A Spring Skincare Wardrobe Makeover from Origins. That package includes four of the newest products from Origins: Starting Over Moisturizer, A Perfect World Moisturizer, Brighter by Nature Peel Pads, and GinZing eye cream.
Just remember to include #OriginsTradeIn AND @greenlagirl in your tweet, so I can track your entry. And for more eco-beauty deals, fan Origins on Facebook.
Tweet by Friday, April 23 to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Saturday, April 24 (more info on freebies here). US addresses only.

This looks wonderful! I don’t think I can get to an Origins tomorrow, but it’s so neat that they’re doing that. Now if only they sold stuff in bulk so you could reuse the containers…

Wow! Likewise, it would depend on if I can even get to an origins tomorrow…but thanks for the info, as always.

I have class from 8-7 tomorrow so I won’t be able to make it to an Origins! But please include me in the drawing!

It’s a 4 on EWG skin deep database. I try to stay at 0-2. Great idea but their products are not as low as others on the database.
