Today’s freebie is a bring your own kit, complete with a reusable bag, water bottle, and mug press! All are items that I collected from gift bags given out at various green events:
>> The bag’s a Whole Foods tote, designed by Sheryl Crow and made of 80% recycled plastic bottles.
>> The bottle’s an Office Depot reusable aluminum bottle. Yes, the inner lining’s BPA-free according to Yalmaz-Siddiqui, Office Depot’s Environmental Strategy Advisor.
>> The mug press from the now defunct Ideal Bite is great for fair trade organic coffee drinkers on the go. Made mostly of stainless steel, the mug press comes with a travel lid and a storage compartment at the bottom that holds enough coffee grounds for two more cups of brew.

these are cool! since I’ve been using the same mug press for four years now (and how many mugs o joe?!) this would be nice to use for a change of pace. :)

I’m totally in need of a travel mug! And my grocery bags are always over-full, so I could probably use another of those too. I don’t need a water bottle though…so I would pass that on to someone who does!

I agree with the first commentor, Joni, I don’t need the water bottle or the bag, and thus would be happy to share. The mug, however, I would love to own! I am a big loose leaf tea drinker and when I do the “on the go” thing I usually am restricted to my smaller selection of tea in the bags.
