I’ve actually seen tote bags over $100 which obviously are for looks more than anything else. Personally, I will never replace my fine $1 or free tote bags that I’ve gotten when these over priced tote bags. I’ve loving the “Get Hip Go Green” tote.

Right on, Siel! I’m noticing more and more that being “green,” for the sake of being trendy is overtaking being “green” for the sake of the environment. It’s a shame really, but I’m glad you’re speaking on the subject.

I often tend to feel we’ve actually already reached that point, but this may be because I go to a lot of eco-events where shwag bags are given out. Obviously, not everyone goes to as many of these types of events as I do — but seriously, where are all these bags going?
