A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.
Like green buildings — or just want to hear Al Gore speak? Then you’ll be into West Coast Green, a conference and expo on green building happening in San Jose, September 25-27, 2008. And 10 green LA girl readers can win pairs of tradeshow tickets that allow for access to the tradeshow floor.
You will have to pay extra for the rest of the conference; the full conference pass costs $575 ($175 for students). Al Gore will speak, as will San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed and Leif Magnuson, an environmental scientist at the U.S. EPA in San Francisco. Plus, the conference as a whole will be focused on innovation, serving as “the meeting place of green building, design, and cleantech,” according to organizers.
But if you’re gonna be around San Jose and want to check out more than 300 exhibitors on the tradeshow floor for free, lemme know via a comment or email by Friday to get into the drawing for a pair of tradeshow floor tickets, which’ll happen Saturday (more info on freebies here). US addresses only.

Hello, would love to get a pair of tickets. And thanks for the great green-LA blogging!

Wednesday Freebees! thanks for your great blogs. I love the links to green savings in your city and also the links to help everyone save. You are doing a fabulous job.
do you have any freebies for West Coast Green in SF this weekend/ Sept 30-Oct 4? I am a green designer but cannot afford the conference.I do have a membership but it only gives a small discount. i love to hear Bill MCdonough speak, he wrote my favorite book “Cradle to Cradle” author. I also want to get inspired by all the visionary speakers. I really want to hear Caroline Casey (Visionary activist Radio Host) and see all the new products etc. Your info on the San Jose West Coast Green was great. If you can give out any free tickets for the SF West Coast Green I would love it! thanks again for all your work to help others go green! Jackie 510-418-6694
