Wednesday freebies: What Tree Is That?

Posted by Siel in freebies (Wednesday April 15, 2009 at 7:04 am)

A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.

Today’s freebie’s a copy of What Tree Is That?: A Guide to the More Common Trees Found in North America, a book from The Arbor Day Foundation that helps you quickly and easily identify trees.

Read my review of the book here, then comment or email by Sunday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Monday (more info on freebies here). US addresses only.

  3. I was hiking on Mt. Diablo last weekend and I really could have used this book. I saw lots of interesting pine trees – some healthy and some not.

  4. My daughter would be so excited – she is obsessed with trees right now and constantly wanting to know what type of trees we are walking by.
