Yummy snacks via domestic fair trade

Posted by Siel in fairtrade, food (Monday March 5, 2007 at 5:52 pm)

Here comes fair trade with a more local face: New yummy snacks grown by small farmers in the US!

You can get Roasted Salted Pecans, Organic Tamari Roasted Almonds, and Organic Dried Sweetened Cranberries at the Equal Exchange store.

These snacks are the first products produced under the Domestic Fair Trade program, which, all in all, got going pretty fast!

For more info, you can read Equal Exchange’s page on domestic fair trade.
